Celtic boss Neil Lennon has said he is thrilled with the club’s home record in the league, since the SPL resumed after the winter break.

The Bhoys have played five matches at Parkhead and scored 23 goals in the process.

A 5-0 win over Dundee on Sunday was the latest in a long line of impressive home performances. “We are really starting to motor now”, Lennon said after the match. “I thought we were sloppy in the first half, we created some decent openings but there was no fluency in our play and defensively we looked a little ragged”.
“But the second half was a lot better. Obviously we got the penalty early and the sending off but I thought our attitude at the start of the second half was a lot better. We needed to up the quality in the final third and there was more urgency and a better shape to our sharpness in the second half”.
“It’s always good to score goals, and that volume of goals at home. The sun was shining, hinting at the first signs of spring and I’m pleased with the way we are playing at the moment”.
Lennon added that he was particularly pleased with the performance of goalscorer Dylan McGeouch, and some of his fringe players: ” I’m pleased for Dylan, that’s two really good games he has put in for us and he scored a great goal. Tom Rogic is a development player we think has great potential and Miku got another run out, we are very satisfied and injury free”.
