Celtic star James Forrest is hoping for an injury-free end to the season, after returning to the first-team at the weekend.
The player marked his return by scoring a penalty in his sides 5-0 win over SPL bottom side Dundee at Parkhead.
Scotish international Forrest has missed a large part of the campaign due to groin and hamstring complaints, and has struggled to hold down a first team place. However, the 21-year-old is now looking to stake a claim for inclusion in the run-in to the SPL title and a possible Scottish Cup final appearance:
“I am feeling good. I am doing a lot of running and I just need to get more games. There has not been anything seriously wrong and maybe that’s a good thing but it has been really frustrating, coming back and getting injured again so hopefully with a little bit of luck I can stay fit for the rest of the season.”
Celtic captain Joe Ledley scored the opening goal in the 13th minute, before Forrest doubled the advantage from the spot four minutes into the second half. Dylan McGeouch, Ledley and Hooper added goals to seal an easy win for the home side.
