The quarter final draw for the Champions League has been made this morning and it has thrown up some mouth-watering games.

It was an open draw which meant teams from the same country could have drawn each other, but we will have to wait for a mega clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona, who avoided each other.

Here is the draw in full:

Malaga CF v Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid CF v Galatasaray A.S.

Paris Saint-Germain V Barcelona

FC Bayern Munchen v Juventus

The pick of the ties is arguably the Bayern Munich game in which they face Celtic’s conquerors Juventus. Bayern only just made it to the quarter finals after a tough game against Arsenal. Both sides are more than capable of winning this tournament, but Bayern will be favourites to progress into the semi-finals.

Spain dominate the Quarter Finals with three clubs from La Liga vying to progress into the semi-finals. Malaga take on German giants Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid take on Turkish side Galatasaray and Barcelona take on big spending PSG.

Dortmund will be favourites to beat Malaga who knocked FC Porto out of the competition in the last 16. The German side could be dark horses to win the competition with their free flowing attacking style of play.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are on a collision course to meet in the latter stages of the competition although both sides face tough opposition as Galatasaray and PSG will not roll over. Barcelona produces the best performance of the last 16 to knock AC Milan out, and they will have to be at their best again to overcome this free spending PSG side.

Galatasary knocked Schalke out in the last 16, and with Didier Drogba in their ranks, they may be a tricky side to beat. Real Madrid beat Manchester United in the last round in a very contentious game, but Mourinho’s men will fancy their chances against the Turkish giants.
