QPR have confirmed that defender Anton Ferdinand has moved on loan to Turkish side Bursaspor.
Boylesports are going a huge 4/1 on Everton – Tottenham – Man United – Chelsea winning on Wednesday
The 27-year-old joined the Londoners from Sunderland in 2011 but, after impressing last season, he has seriously struggled for form this term. Leaving a move away from Loftus Road an inevitability.
He flew to Istanbul Ataturk Airport to meet representatives of the club on Sunday evening where he told the Dogan News Agency: “I am happy to be here. We will meet Bursaspor representatives on Monday. Nothing concrete for now.”
It is unclear if the loan move may turn into a permanent transfer. But it looks a possibility if Ferdinand can hold down a first team place.
The Turkish has many English players including Scott Carson and Maurice Edu who went there on loan earlier this month.
