Frank Lampard is considering a move to QPR after finding himself frozen out of Chelsea’s starting eleven according to the Daily Mail.

QPR are 11/4 to beat Newcastle away this weekend with Boylesports.com

The 34 year old is out of contract in the summer but since the England international returned from injury under new boss Rafa Benitez, chances for first-team action have been limited.

Lampard has been synonymous with Chelsea Football club since he signed in 2001 scoring over 186 goals in almost 574 appearances for the club making him the third highest all-time goalscorer in the clubs history.

It would be strange to think of him not playing for Chelsea but he, along with Ashley Cole will not be offered new contracts in the coming months and the proud midfielder should seek pastures new.

Lampard only saw a few minutes action in the World Club semi-final win over Monterrey as a substitute and despite starting in yesterday’s 1-0 defeat to Corinthians, the 34-year-old may decide on a quick getaway during January’s transfer window.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is keen to bolster his squad in the coming transfer window and Lampard’s prayers for regular first-team action under could well be answered by his uncle.

Furthermore the rumors Chelsea are also interested in bringing Roma’s 22 year old Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic to Stamford Bridge in January for around €18m could virtually seal Lampard’s exit from Stamford Bridge.
