Boylesports have World Cup winners Germany as the 7/2 favourites to win the tournament.

Spain, who failed to reach the last 16 in the World Cup, are next in the betting at 4/1 whilst host nations, France are on offer at 8/1.

Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker has seen support for Belgium in the past 24 hours and as a result have shortened the team who are currently ranked 5th in the world into 9/1 from 14/1.

Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane’s Republic Of Ireland are massive outsiders at 200/1 to cause a shock, with England on offer at 12/1 to win their first UEFA European Championship.

Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said: “FIFA World Number One team Germany are currently the 7/2 favourites to win a record fourth UEFA European Championship in France in 2016.”

He added: “Our traders have seen some shrewd support for Belgium in the past few days and have cut Marc Wilmot’s squad into 9/1 having initially been installed at 14/1.”
