With the news breaking on Thursday that Neil Lennon has left as manager of Celtic, former Celtic player, Henrik Larsson, is the red hot 1/1 favourite to be the next permanent manager at Celtic Park.
The real money has come for former Manchester United manager, David Moyes, who was installed at 10/1 alongside Dundee United manager, Jackie McNamara. but is now second favourite at 7/2.
Owen Coyle is 5/1 and Malky Mackay is 6/1 to take up the role.
David O’Leary is priced at 25/1 with Martin O’Neill a 33/1 chance to reunite with the club that he managed from 2000 to 2005.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “Despite still being in charge of Swedish club Falkenbergs, Henrik Larsson is the red hot favourite to take over at Celtic and certainly he is all that punters are interested in having supported him in from 5/4 to 1/1.”
He added “Now that David Moyes is looking for a new team, the current 7/2 that is available for Moyes to be next manager at Celtic may prove popular as the native Scotsman might be looking to return home and manage a team that he started his senior professional football career at.”
