Ireland squad to face Kazakhstan

Giovanni Trapattoni has announced the squad who will face Kazakhstan in Ireland’s first world cup qualifier on September 7th and Oman in a friendly on September 11th.

There’s no Damien Duff, who retired today, while Richard Dunne and Paul Green are out injured.

Wes Hoolahan also fails to make the cut and Stephen Hunt is once again left out.
