Zaha has not appeared for David Moyes’ side since the Community Shield victory over Wigan.
The 20 year old, capped twice for England has fallen off the radar at International level and missed out on being named in the squad for the for the qualifiers against Montenegro and Poland.
The winger instead featured for the U21 side after he was named in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the 2015 European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against San Marino and Lithuania.
Swansea, West Brom, Stoke and Newcastle are all keen on taking the player on loan in January while his former club Crystal Palace are also very interested.
“Wilf has not appeared,” Moyes said. “We have not felt we have had the opportunity.
“I want Wilf to get used to what happens here. The competition is hard. It is just impossible to get all these players a game at the one time. You can only ever play eleven.
“But it is important Wilf gets to see the level of the training here, the level of the players and the quality they have got. He is getting better, which we are pleased about.”
