The German Under-17 International has been causing quiet a stir on the continent in recent months and, after he stalled on contract talks with his hometown club of Hamburg, Sir Alex Ferguson made his move to secure the promising centre-back according to metro.co.uk

Other clubs such as Bayern Munich and Arsenal are also in the hunt for the teenager but United are rumored to have offered superior terms to get their man.

It’s widely believed the German club will ask for compensation of around £300,000 before allowing Tah to leave as his has still two years to run on his current contract.
