Punters support Di Matteo to take over the Black Cats
Tony Pulis now 5/1 from 13/2
With Paulo Di Canio sacked from his position as head coach at Sunderland, Boylesports has installed former Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo as the Even money favourite to take over at the Stadium of Light.
Former Stoke manager Tony Pulis is currently at 5/1 having attracted support whilst former England manager, Steve McClaren, is priced at 22/1.
Gus Poyet, who left Brighton, but proved popular with supporters whilst with the Seagulls, is priced at 9/2 second favourite with Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker whilst Alex McLeish is on offer at 7/1.
Leon Blanche, Head of Communications at Boylesports said “We have seen a steady flow of cash for Roberto Di Matteo to take over at Sunderland and if the demand continues in the next few hours, we will have to shorten the current odds of Evens.”
He added “Tony Pulis has already attracted some support having being backed from 13/2 into 5/1 to take over the position.”
