Sturridge shortens into 13/2 from 15/2
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero has been cut into 11/2 from 7/1 to land the 2013/14 Premier League Top Goalscorer prize after scoring two goals in Manchester City’s 3-1 away win over West Ham on Saturday.
Boylesports has also shortened Daniel Sturridge into 13/2 from 15/2 after the English player scored again at the weekend and now lies top of the EPL Top Goalscorer table with seven goals so far this season.
Luis Suarez who failed to score at the weekend for Liverpool has drifted out to 5/1 from 9/2 whilst Robin Van Persie who has scored four goals for Manchester United so far, remains the 7/2 favourite to retain the Golden Boot.
Leon Blanche, Head of Communications at Boylesports said “It’s still early days in the race to land the Premier League Top Goalscorer but Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge has certainly got off to the perfect start.”
He added ”Sturridge was as big as 20/1 at the start of the season and some punters who availed of the price back in August look to have a nice bet in the making if Sturridge continues to score goals.”
