PSG are ready to swoop for Spanish star Isco, who is valued at £35m by his club, Malaga.
Liverpool and Arsenal are keen to sign the midfield star, but they are at risk of being out-muscled financially by PSG who sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old last week.
Isco has a contract with Malaga until 2016, and the Spanish club will not budge on the price, meaning very few clubs will be in a position to sign him in the summer.Chelsea (V Fc Basel), Benfica (V Fenerbahce) & Northampton (V Cheltenham) All To Win is 15/4 click here to bet
However, PSG director Leonardo, ordered PSG scouts to watch him in action against Getafe, a game Malaga won 2-1 last Sunday.
Liverpool saw Isco as the heir apparent to Steven Gerrard, but with this latest splurge from PSG it all but rules the Reds out of the race.
Arsenal are in the market from some big signings with a reported £70million transfer war chest, however spending £35million on one player won’t make any sense to manager Arsene Wenger.
Manchester City have also been linked with a move for Isco, which is very interesting , with reports that Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini held talks with Manchester City sporting director Txiki Begiristain over the possibility of replacing Roberto Mancini as coach at Eastlands next season.
That would put City in the driving seat to sign the Spaniard, with Goal.com reporting that he could move with Pellegrini in the summer.
There are several clubs in the market for some major signings after poor European campaigns. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, PSG and Manchester United are all expected to sign some new players, and Isco is atop many clubs lists.
