Rangers have reportedly made a bid for Norwich captain Grant Holt.
The Gers are set to lose Nikica Jelavic to Everton on transfer deadline day and Ally McCoist has moved quickly to find a replacement.
Reports suggest a bid has been lodged for the 30 year old, but Norwich do not want to lose their marksman.
Holt has enjoyed a few successful seasons with the Canaries, having moved around a lot earlier in his career.
The English striker played for nine different teams before signing for Norwich for £400,000 in 2009.
Holt enjoyed his most successful stints at Rochdale, Nottingham Forest and Shrewsbury Town, while he has scored 61 goals in 112 games for Norwich.
