Boylesports have reported that punters continue to support Luis Suarez to go one better than last season and lift the 2013/14 Premier League Top Goalscorer award.
The Liverpool striker has now scored fourteen goals and was cut into 6/5 from 13/5 on Saturday evening but now has shortened into Evens following a flood of cash both in retail and online.
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero has now scored twelve goals so far this season and is now available at 12/5 having been 5/2.
Last year’s winner, Robin Van Persie, has only scored seven goals this season and he has now drifted out to 10/1 from 6/1 to retain the title.
Wayne Rooney has drifted out to 14/1 from 11/1 whilst Everton’s Romelu Lukaku is next in the betting at 16/1 alongside Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “We shortened Luis Suarez into 6/5 from 13/5 on Saturday evening and the demand continued to still come for him on Sunday so we had to shorten him even further into Evens on Sunday evening.”
He added “With the demand still coming for the Uruguayan, he is now a massive book loss and his nearest rival in the market, Sergio Aguero, currently stands to be our second biggest loser.”
