It has emerged that up to six Manchester United players may find themselves looking for a new club in the Summer as Sir Alex Ferguson clears out the deadwood at Old Trafford in order to bring in some fresh faces.

Paul Scholes is set to call it quits for good this time as he is set to retire at the end of the current campaign. Scholes was recalled from retirement once before by Ferguson but this time he is set to end his glittering career permanently.
Midfielder Anderson, who signed from Porto, is set to be shipped out as Ferguson has ran out of patience with the Brazilian star, as his fitness seem to dominate the reasons he will be leaving.
Nani is still fighting for his future at the club and despite showing his abilities in recent weeks, the Daily Mirror believe that he will be leaving in the summer so they do not lose him on a free transfer when his contract expires in 2014.
One of the more shocking departures could be that of Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard. The Dane was part of the United team early In the season, however with the recent form of Spanish keeper David De Gea, Lindegaard has become an expensive second choice keeper. It is though that West Ham are interested in signing the out of favour keeper.
Another surprise departure could be left back Alexander Buttner, who has barely had a chance to prove his worth at Old Trafford with the fantastic form of Patrice Evra. The former Vitesse Arnhem man would be available on the cheap too, and would be a fantastic signing for anyone in the premier league.
Mexican striker Javier Hernandez is another big name departure we could see in the Summer. Manchester United have been linked with moves for Bundesliga pair Mario Gomez and Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund respectively, and Hernadez would then be surplus to requirements with Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie all ahead of him in the pecking order.
So here is the full list of players we may see leaving Old Trafford in the Summer: Javier Hernadez, Anderson, Lindegaard, Nani, Buttner, Valencia and Ashley Young.

I agree with your list of players as stated with the exception of Hernandez. He is a better player than Welbeck, who hasen’t scored much goals with his pace. His first touch lets him down and is not clinical like Hernandez. Utd need to strengthen their squad with quality players if they wish to win the Champions League. Some of their performances were shocking.

Dats d writer decision.butner is evra’s replacement and chicha is d friend of d net. He is goin no where. Why did u think he started against chelsea? United are only experiencing problems @ d wing. Valencia has been poor dis season and dat does not mean he won’t pick up. Its always like dat. Ando was coming to his best when injury struck in. Besides consistent games Always makes players improve which ando dnt have. De gea was poor b4 he picked up. So, united has to bring in someone like modric. We have zaha coming in next seaSon. Nani and yong will be left to compete. Welcome is also good @ d wing

really? I certainly have too much doubt.
IMO! Evra won’t be here after 2014 season. He probably retire or went back to France. He is very useful in attack but not very good in defense.
Well, Hernandez I would be utterly disappointed to see him leaving MANU. He is a wonderful striker.
