Stoke City have completed the signing of Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland for just under £5million.
The 19-year-old reportedly had his medical yesterday at the Britannia but it was only announced this afternoon that he is officially a Stoke City player.
Although there has been speculation that Begović could be leaving the club by the end of the day it is expected that Butland will be loaned straight back to the Blues until the end of the season.
Butland made his international debut against Italy in a friendly earlier in the season becoming the youngest goalkeeper to feature in their senior team.
Chelsea had reportedly expressed their interest the youngster, but he was not prepared to speak to the club, as he believed he wouldn’t get the chance to play regular first-team football.
