After the wonderful win over Liverpool during the week Stoke boss Tony Pulis will be confident that even with a weakened defence his side will have enough to overcome the visiting Southampton.
Captain Ryan Shawcross and right-back Geoff Cameron serve one-match bans for picking up five yellow cards, while Southampton will also be without their captain Adam Lallana who is till carrying a knee injury.
With the best defence in the Premier League having only conceded 14 goals and kept nine clean sheets this season Southampton will need a big performance if they are to get anything at the Brittania Stadium.
Nigel Adkins’ side have scored only nine away from home this season and have let in 21.
