Manchester United manager David Moyes has signed Marouane Fellaini for a reported 28 million pounds from his former club Everton.
The 25-year-old had been linked with a move to Old Trafford across the summer, with David Moyes making multiple bids but it wasn’t until 8pm this evening that he player handed in a transfer request to Everton manager Roberto Martinez.
United’s pursuit of Fellaini had included joint bids that have included his Everton team-mate Leighton Baines but they were rejected so Moyes made a single bid for Fellaini yesterday.
To the surprise of many Manchester United fans this is the first signing by new manager David Moyes, but they did have had a €40m bid for Sami Khedira rejected.
