Brazilian promising youngster Marquinho is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Barcelona for transfer fee of £20 million.
Marquinhos, who joined PSG last summer from Serie A outfit Roma for a huge €31.4 million, is unsure about his future at the Parisian club with the arrival of Luiz. The 20 year old is likely to lose his place in the first team with PSG’s new recruit likely to join Brazil national team captain Thiago Silva as the first choice central defenders.
Barcelona have now reportedly signed the Brazilian starlet so Manchester United have missed out. The Premier League club are seeking a long term replacement for Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand who will leave the club this summer.
