Following the draw held on Thursday in Monaco, the coming season is expected to be a thriller with some of the best teams drawn in one group.

Chelsea will be tested yet again with Athletico Madrid after they got drawn in the same group. Antonio Conte’s blue army also has tricky encounters with Italian outfit Roma and FK Qarabag in Group C. FK Qarabag is the first team from Azerbaijan to reach this prestigious European stage. Defending champions Real Madrid will begin their journey to win Champions League three consecutive times.

The Los Blancos will face Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham and Apoel in what is regarded as the group of death, Group H. Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund were in the same group last season and Borussia Dortmund won the group. Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s rival Barcelona will face their last season’s enemy Italian champions and last season’s runners up Juventus who knocked them out. Barcelona failed to score against Juventus in a two legged 2016/17 season quarters. The Catalans will also face Olympiacos and Sporting CP in Group D.

This time around the Champions League is more exciting, it can easily be compared to real casino gaming. Which is thrilling all year round. Red Devils returned to Champions League as Europa League winners. Jose Mourinho’s side will play against Benfica, FC Basel and CSKA Moscow in Group A encounters. Man United strengthened their squad by resigning 35-year old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who scored 26 goals in all competitions for them last season. The other club from Manchester, Manchester City is in Group F. Other teams in the group include Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli, and Feyenoord. Man City has already spent £188 million on six players this transfer window.  Bayern Munich will entertain Paris St-Germain, Anderlecht and the Scottish champions Celtics in Group B. While the French champions Monaco takes on FC Porto, Besiktas and RB Leipzig in Group G.
