St Nicholas Abbey continues to drift

St Nicholas Abbey continues to drift ahead of this weekends King George Stakes and is now out to 9-4 on Betfair. The Coronation Cup winner has been very weak in recent days and has lost favouritism to Workforce.

The latter was beaten by So You Think in the Eclipse Stakes earlier this month but is expected to have improved fromthat seasonal debut. Last year’s Derby and Arc winner is a serious horse on his day and probably deserves to head the market.

However, the weakness of the second favourite is a major worry for punters and connections. The horse started the week trading as low as 6-4 but has continued to drift each day.

To win the King George – sponsors bet: 2.74 Workforce, 3.35 St Nicholas Abbey, 4.2 Rewilding, 9.2 Nathaniel, 70 Seville, 85 Midday, 120 Debussy
