Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is lining up a move for Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente as he looks to reshape his forward line.
With reports linking Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli with the exit door not to mention the uncertainty over the future of Carlos Tevez City are keen to bolster their striking options.
Top of the queue is Llorente with the Sun reporting that talks are at an advanced stage for the 27 year old. The Paper claims that City are close to agreeing a £30 million pound deal for the Spanish international with a five year contract on offer for the player.
A number of clubs are interested in the 23 goal hit-man with Tottenham and Liverpool both long term suitors however with City expected to offer the player £200,000 a week neither club is expected to be able to compete for his signature.
