Celtic player Ki Sung-Yueng has suffered a hamstring injury that will rule him out for the rest of the season.
The Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-yueng has picked up a hamstring injury during Celtic’s 3-0 victory against Motherwell on Sunday. The South Korean sustained the injury during the first half of the game and the Scottish Premier League (SPL) champions have revealed he will be out for up to five weeks.
He will now miss the old firm clash this week end with local rival’s Rangers at Parkhead and the remaining three games. This is undoubtedly a big blow for the player who must have been relishing the derby game against Rangers at Celtics home ground. After been crowned champions of Scotland the Celtic fans will surely be in fine voice to rub it into their local rivals and the atmosphere will guarantee to be electric. This will be the type of game that any professional player will relish to be a part of and Sung-yueng will without doubt be disappointed to be missing out on the experience.
