Zlatan Ibrahimovic talks down reports of a move to Real Madrid declaring he is happy in Italy.
Sweden international soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic denies reports linking him with transfer to Spanish league leaders Real Madrid. Jose Mourinho has apparently been interested in bringing in the striker to his side after an impressive season with AC Milan. The 30 year old has scored an impressive 31 goals in 37 appearances for the Italian giants and with this excellent scoring ratio has attracted the attention of some big clubs in Europe.
However, Ibrahimovic insists he is content with life at the San Siro after having previous spells with top European clubs such as Ajax, Barcelona and local rivals Inter Milan. He told the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet: “It would be good maybe facing a new challenge, but I have already faced many of them in my life and I’ve learnt a thing: should you feel good in a place, you must stay.
“And I want to stay here. I feel good at Milan, I couldn’t have more. I want to stay at Milan.
“I’m like the good wine: getting better as time passes. And I’m really keen on next season with Milan.”
