Balinhassig’s Martin Coleman will replace the injured Dónal Óg Cusack in goal for Cork against Kilkenny for Sunday’s National Hurling League final in Thurles (throw-in 4pm).
Coleman gets the nod between the sticks ahead of Anthony Nash – who had done well following Cusack’s 17th minute achilles tendon rupture during the semi-final win over Tipperary.
There are two other changes to the starting XV that beat the Premier County; Brian Murphy has recovered from injury and regains his place at left corner back, replacing Conor O’Sullivan. Up front, Conor Lehane returns on the wing in place of Jamie Coughlan.
Darren Sweetman has been unable to train due to the fact that he is in the middle of exams, but will take his place on the replacements bench for the Rebels.
