Darts star set for Dundalk

Co. Louth will play to host to two time World Darts Championship finalist Tony ‘Silverback’ O’Shea over the long weekend.

The Stockport-born player, who also boasts Irish heritage, made his BDO World Darts Championship debut in 2002 and made the final this year and back in 2009.

O’shea managed to achieve a televised nine dart finish against Adrian Lewis during the 2007 International Darts League in May 2007 which made the tournament the first in darts history to witness two perfect games.

He will be throwing darts at the Lumpers, Ravensdale on Friday, 4th May from 8pm. The following day, Saturday, he will be at Fay’s Bar, Drumcondrath from 8pm and on Sunday May 6, Dundalk fans will have their chance to pit their skills against O’shea at the Commercial Club, Earl Street from 8pm.

Admission is free and he will play all comers for a fee.
