The inspirational giant is an immense presence in the Munster side and will no doubt be a huge loss for the sides RaboDirect PRO 12 semi final against Ospreys in the Liberty Stadium this Friday night.
Damian Varley has also been ruled out of the squads encounter with the Ospreys after picking up an ankle sprain. Varley may be fit in time for the final should Munster overcome their opponents this Friday.
These are two big losses for Munster however, they have been boosted by the news that Ronan O’ Gara is expected to return to training tomorrow.
