Monaghan’s Eoin Lennon could be an injury doubt for the first round of the Ulster championship.
Lennon was playing at midfield in a challenge game against Armagh when he landed awkwardly on his ankle.
The midfielder was immediately withdrawn from the match as a precaution. He has now only three weeks to recover from his ankle injury as Monaghan face Antrim on the 27th of May in Clones.
The same game saw Kieran Toner return to the Armagh team after he missed the league and Dr McKenna Cup. Toner was in Australia since December and returned to training in recent weeks for Armagh.
Armagh beat Monaghan on a score line of 1-11 to 13 points last Sunday.
