Leinster and Ireland scrum half Issac Boss admits that there will be plenty of good nature banter between the Leinster and Ulster players as both teams continue their build up to the Heineken Cup final on May 19th.
Boss, who spent five years at Ulster. is in no doubt that the text messages will be flying in both camps, and he feels that it will happen sooner rather than later.
Speaking to ercrugby.com the No 9 said “We’ll keep in touch with them over the next couple of weeks and I’m sure there’ll be a bit of banter between us all.
“”I’m good mates with a few of them. They’ve come a long way. They had a tough pool and to make it all the way through to the final is a good effort from them.
“I saw the emotion on the faces of the Ulster boys after the match against Edinburgh so we know they’re definitely going to bring it to us.
“It’s good for Irish rugby to have two teams in the final so it’s going to be a big day at Twickenham.”
Despite Leinster coming into the Heineken Cup final as huge favourites , Boss insists that nobody is getting ahead of themselves in the Leinster camp. “We’ve got to regroup now. We’ve just got to focus on putting in a good performance week in, week out now.
“We’ve got to reassess and look at what we did right and wrong in Clermont.
“We watched a bit of Ulster’s semi-final in the hotel (in France) but we’ll break it down a bit more and try and see where we can beat them.
“None of us can look too far ahead.”
