TV3 announce 2012 Live GAA fixture list

Updated: May 10, 2012

TV3 have revealed their selection of the upcoming Live GAA football and hurling championship fixtures for the forthcoming championships.

Matt Cooper will head a team of panellists which will broadcast thirteen live games over the course of the summer including the provincial football finals in Ulster, Munster and Connacht. The TV3 team will also be live from Croke Park on All Ireland Final day to bring you coverage of both the minor football and hurling finals.

In an attempt at revamping the stations national game coverage a new GAA show will be broadcasted on TV3 and its sister channel 3e. Additionally its primetime morning show Ireland AM will start the build up to the weekend’s games on Friday mornings and provide match analysis on the following Monday.

“Matt Cooper and the team are excited to be heading into our fifth year as GAA broadcaster. The summer promises to throw up plenty of excitement, surprises and debate. We will be showcasing our matches from all around the country and will be giving our viewers front row seats to the most exciting games in the world.” said TV3’s sports editor, Kieran Holden.
