Good news for Donegal’s Karl Lacey as he returned to training following a hamstring injury.
Lacey missed a challenge game against Mayo last weekend but he is expected to be fit for the Ulster championship opener against Cavan on the 20th of May.
Ryan Bradley has also returned to training this week after suffering a hamstring strain. Bradley was one of the success stories for Donegal in last year’s championship. Bradley made his championship debut against Antrim last year and he also received the Sunday Game Man of the Match for his performance in that game.
However Michael Murphy will not be available for selection until mid-June. The Glenswilly man is recovering from a knee injury which occurred while playing against Dublin in the league. Murphy received surgery to repair knee ligament damage and will train on a bicycle for the next three weeks.
