Live commentary from Wicklow vs Meath in the Christy Ring Cup Semi-Final, Saturday May 26th, Arklow

Meath manager, Cillian Farrell, has named an unchanged side to face Wicklow this Saturday in Arklow, as they look to progress to the final.

The Royals, who have been playing some good hurling thus far, will again look to Paddy Conneely to lead the line, as they look to reach their first ever Christy Ring final.

Having overcome favourites Kildare in the quarter-final, the Meath players will be on a high and looking to maintain their rhythm.

Wicklow manager, Casey O’Brien, had been touting his side as potential winners from the outset and has been proven right thus far. It has been victory following victory for the Garden County and now they will face their sternest test yet.
With both teams able to select from their strongest possible panel, this could be an interesting tie to say the least in Arklow. Meath will be favourites but it will be closer than supporters think and, maybe, Wicklow can pull off a shock.
