Ireland starting XI for Tuscany game

Giovanni Trapattoni has named his starting eleven for Ireland’s friendly against a Tuscany XI on Tuesday evening, kick off 7.30pm Irish time.

Trap has named a strong side with Robbie Keane and Simon Cox up front supported by Shane Long and Stephen Hunt on the flanks.

Paul Green, called in as a replacement for the injured Keith Fahey, will start in the middle of the park with Keith Andrews while Stephen Kelly, Richard Dunne, Paul McShane, Sean St Ledger and Keiren Westwood make up the back five.

The game in Pistoia which will raise funds for charity is the second game of Ireland’s pre Euro 2012 build up and comes just four days after the Irish said farewell to their fans with a 1-0 win over Bosnia at the Aviva in Dublin.
