Cork defender William Egan will be unable to train for at least two weeks after injuring his shoulder in a club game over the weekend. Egan fell awkwardly in a challenge and sustained damage to his AC joint.
Egan was playing for his club Kilbrin in a junior league game and was unable to participate fully in a poc fada competition in Croke Park today, which was part of the launch of the Skyline tour in Croke Park.
Luke O’Farrell and Paudie O’Sullivan also picked up knocks over the weekend but they are expected to be fit in the coming week.
Cork will play Tipperary in the Munster Hurling Championship semi-final on June 24th in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
