Offaly v Wexford: Leinster hurling GAA live score updates

Updated: June 2, 2012

We have live score commentary from Offaly v Wexford in the Leinster SHC Quarter Final, Tullamore, 7pm, Saturday June 3rd

They may be the bridesmaids to Kilkenny’s bride but both Offaly and Wexford have put on epic matches for fans throughout the years and Sunday promises to be no different.
Their most recent encounter in Division 1B of the Allianz National League was a modern classic. The Faithful County led by nine points with seven minutes to go but a stunning comeback by Wexford gave them a 3-18 to 2-20 win at the death.
Wexford have lost a number of players to the footballers and the recent injury to Tomás Waters will not have helped.
However, if Shane Dooley can get enough ball to him up front and support comes when needed, then Offaly may just do enough.
Offaly only narrowly missed out on a place in the Division 1B final and their overall form has been slightly better than their opponents. There is barely anything between the teams and a lot of firepower in both line-ups to ensure another cracker in Tullamore this weekend.

Offaly – James Dempsey; Derek Morkan, David Kenny, David Franks; Diarmuid Horan, Rory Hanniffy, James Rigney; Conor Mahon, Kevin Brady; Joe Bergin, Colin Egan, Brendan Murphy; Shane Dooley, Cathal Parlon, Brian Carroll.

Wexford – Eanna Martin; Willie Devereux, Keith Rossiter, Stephen Murphy; David Redmond, Matthew O’Hanlon, Ciaran Kenny; Shaun Murphy, Diarmuid Lyng; Garreth Sinnott, Eoin Quigley, P J Nolan; Rory Jacob, Jack Guiney, Paul Morris.
