London v Leitrim: Connacht football live score commentary

Updated: June 3, 2012

We have live score commentary updates from London v Leitrim in the Connacht football Quarter Final, Ruislip, 3pm

London manager, Paul Coggins, is looking for a repeat of the performance in the 2011 campaign that saw the Exiles record a surprise victory over Fermanagh in the qualifiers.
“We’ll have to perform at the highest possible level”, said Roscommon native, Coggins.
“There might be high levels of expectation because of last year, but that’s fine. If the performance level is high enough, we’ve got a chance.”

“We’re very happy with how our preparation has gone. We’ve got the players, we’ve got the quality inside to do what needs to be done, but it’s going to take a huge effort. We’re ready for it.”

With no fresh injury concerns, Coggins knows his players must have the right attitude and the belief if they are to get past Leitrim.

Leitrim managers George Dugdale and Barney Breen have handed starting berths to two new players for their trip to Ruislip. Melvin Gaels centre-back Fabian McMorrow will start along with Paddy McGowan, who comes in at wing-forward.
James Glancy will again be the go-to man up front to provide the firepower, ably assisted by Adrian Croal and Ray Fox.
