8.35pm Thats a wrap Clare and Cork have both earned their place in the next round of the Hurling qualifier series with impressive wins over Dublin and Offaly respectively. Thanks for joining me and be sure to join us again tomorrow when we do it all over again.
8.34pm FULL TIME Cork join Clare in the next round after an impressive and entertaining seven point win over Offaly.
8.32pm Meanwhile Dooley has scored another goal for Offaly, they trail by four points with about a minute left.
8.30pm FULL TIME and Clare and Davy Fitzgerald are into phase 3 of the Hurling Championship qualifiers. A fantastic second half inspired by John Conlon saw the Banner county run out three point winners despite being down to 14 men following the sending off of Nicky O’Connell. Dublin’s season is over now and they will rue a number of missed chances with the pressure now set to mount on Anthony Daly after a poor 2012.
8.29pm Strong defence by Clare they’ve been immense this second half. John Conlon, the man of the match, has just hit a great score to all but seal a memorable win and a first championship win since 2008 for Clare.
8.28pm Is it all over for Dublin and Anthony Daly? Two minutes left (added time) and two points down. They have a free.
8.27pm Cork should be home and dry now as Lenehan and Stephen Moylan hit over scores. 1-22 to 1-16 with about four minutes left.
8.26pm Clare are tiring but Dublin are not able to take advantage as they have hit three wides in a row.
8.25pm Daniel Kearney has kept Cork ahead after a minor Offaly recovery, they lead by three with about 5 minutes to go.
8.23pm Full time in Mullingar and the minor of Meath will join their senior counterparts in Croke Park on the 22nd July as they have overcome neighbours Westmeath by an impressive margin, running out 3-14 to 1-07 winners.
8.19pm Four players have been sent off tonight, 3 of them have come in the minor game. Westmeath down to 13 men and Meath down to 14 Oh and there’s been another goal that man Dardis again for the Royals. They lead by 13 now. Game all but over. Cian McCarthy has hit another fine score for Cork, four ahead now.
8.18pm The hard working John Conlon wins a free for Clare and McGraths thanks his efforts in the best possible fashion with a fine free. Clare lead by 3 with about 10 minutes to go with added time.
8.16pm about three minutes left in Mullingar and Westmeath will need a big finish if they are to comeback into this, they trail by 10 points.
8.15pm Anthony Nash is a keepers dream, strong between the sticks and well able to contribute a score. He’s just scored his second of the day to put Cork three ahead, thats four scores in a row for the rebels.
8.12pm Clare move three points ahead as Collins hits a great point from distance. 15 minutes left here in Ennis. Simon Lambert responds for Dublin.
8.10pm Dublin back in front but wait thats all changed as Kelly has just scored a sensational goal for Clare. Cork lead by a point Cian McCarthy the scorer, 10136 the official attendance in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
8.09pm There another penalty to report, this time in Cork AND AGAIN its been SAVED.
8.07pm McGrath form play levels the Clare/Dublin game. There’s been a penalty saved – its in the minor semi final and its Westmeath who have missed the chance to make it a 4 point game.
8.06pm ODD move as Paul Ryan makes way for Dublin. He has been the most consistent Dublin player on show and the most likely sources of points. Honan meanwhile with a fine point for Clare makes it a one point game.
8.05pm Conor McGrath with his third free makes it a two point game in Cusack Park. Shane Durkin is in for Dublin, McCaffrey the man to make way.
8.04pm A 1oth wide of the evening for Dublin, despite being a man ahead they are a bit flat the moment. Clare are buzzing.
8.02pm Its an exciting game down on the Lee, after leading at half time by two points, Cork were slow off the mark and Offaly cut the lead and went ahead, but Conor Lenehane has levelled it again. 1-13 each.
8.00pm Tony Kelly hits a lovely score, that should inspire Clare, they now trail by four points. Liam Rushe hits back with a poor wide, he was straight in front of the posts there.
7.57pm Fiachra Ward has been impressive tonight for the Meath minors by all accounts. The lake County have responded in the last few minutes however with two scores to reduce Meath’s lead to six points. Second half underway in Cork v Offaly and its Offaly who get off the mark first with a point from Dooley.
7.55pm Treacy makes it two in a minute for Dublin but Conlon replies straight away for Clare.
7.53pm We’re back in Cusack Park and what a start to the second half as Nicky O’Connell gets send off inside the opening two minutes of the half. Clare down to 14 men. Paul Ryan adds to Davy’s woes with his ninth score.
7.37pm HALF TIME in Cusack Park and Clare/Davy Fitzgerald are losing to Dublin/Anthony Daly by four points. Paul Ryan and Maurice O’Brien have been fantastic for Dublin. Cork leading by two in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
7.35pm Cork stay two points ahead in Pairc Ui Chaoimh, nearly half time there. Clare’s Nicky O’Connell meanwhile has hit a long free wide, the wide carried it there. HALF TIME in the Leinster Minor semi final and its double your score as meath lead westmeath 2-08 to 1-04
7.33pm The Meath minors move further ahead. McCrabbe meanwhile hits a line out ball wide for Dublin, 3 minutes of added time with Clare benefit from with a score from Morey.
7.29pm Great save by Kelly after a lovely dummy by Treacy. Ryan hits over the 65. Meath taking control now in Cusack Park, 6 points ahead now with half time looming. Lorcan McLaughlin and Brian Carroll have traded points in Cork, the Rebels lead by two points.
7.29pm Horgan puts Cork further ahead.
7.28pm Clare’s Conor McGrath hits his second point of the day, three points behind now. Doesn’t last long though as O’Brien hits another big score.
7.25pm Changes in Cork as David Franks comes on for Offaly as Cork keeper Anthony Nash put them ahead. Fiachra Ward was the scorer for Meath while back in our main game Ryan has hit a rare wide for Dublin.
7.24pm Maurice O’Brien with a fine score for Daly’s Dubs, move further ahead. Meanwhile Meath are also four ahead in the minor semi final, another goal helping them.
7.23pm John Conlon with a poor wide, he was under pressure from the Dublin defence though to be fair to him.
7.22pm Horgan have levelled it in Cork. 1-07 apiece. Boland hits a wide for Dublin, there third of the half, it was a long way out and the breeze seemed to carry it to the left.
7.20pm There’s been another goal in Cork – this time to the Rebels and its that man Horgan, takes them to within a point of Offaly 1-06 to 1-07. Ryan meanwhile have put Dublin further ahead with his seventh free.
7.19pm The Westmeath minors are level in Mullingar. Meanwhile Clare have hit their third wide of the game. Offaly still the goal ahead in Cork.
7.18pm The one man shot that is Paul Ryan continues with another free.
7.17pm Kelly with his second of the evening levelling matters again, five apiece.
7.16pm Darach Honan with a fine score for Clare, they first in ten minutes.
7.15pm Paul Ryan has put Dublin further ahead. A nice run of scores after a strong start by Clare.
7.14pm Horgan has hit over a free for Cork. They trail by two points. 1-03 t0 0-04

7.13pm There’s been a goal in Cork and its Offaly who have it, Colin Egan the man.
7.11pm Confirmation that Barry Dardis is the meath minor scorer. It now 1-02 to 0-01 in favour of the Royal County.
7.10pm Pa Cronin has levelled matters in Pairc Ui Chaoimh while Ryan has done the same for Dublin in Cusack Park with his 3rd free.
7.09pm Shane Dooley has put Offaly a point up. Paul Ryan has hit his second point of the day for Dublin.
7.07pm Dublin are off the mark while the minor’s of Meath are a goal ahead.
7.04pm Kelly gets his first of the day for Clare, Dublin have hit two wides. Coughlan and Bergin have swapped points for Cork and Offaly.
7.02pm Nicky O’Connell is down for Clare and there is a bit of argy bargy between the players.
18.59pm Conlon with the first score for Clare. Good start
18.57pm Davy Fitz makes five changes from the team lost to Waterford.
