It has been reported that Derrick Smith, Sue Magnier and Michael Tabor have sold a large share of Group 1 winner Fame And Glory to Jim and Fitri Hay.

Earlier this month the Hay’s  bought into the Aidan O’Brien-trained Cape Blanco, who is being aimed at the Dubai World Cup. The deal for the five-year-old, a winner of nine of his 15 starts and nearly £2million prize-money, is subject to veterinary advice.

“A source close to Ballydoyle said that the son of Montjeu would continue to carry Smith’s well-known purple and white colours,” reported the Telegraph’s website.
