Both sides will be keen to make a statements of intent ahead of the new season and with Chelsea outshining their equally wealthy Northern rivals City will be determined to show that last season’s effort was not an once off.

It’s been a slow summer at Eastlands with no big name signings yet to arrive while Chelsea have opened the cheque book to the tune £66 million with the capture of Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Oscar.

Fantasy5live Three to Watch:

Eden Hazard: The summer signing from Lille looks an exciting prospect and could be one of the stars of the season. The Belgian International will be keen to get to off the mark early in the season and with assists work 10 points and goals from midfield worth 15, Hazard’s name could be on everyone’s lips and fantasy football sides come Sunday evening.

John Terry: Season 2012/2013 is a big season for the England centre back, a summer trial (he was found not guilty) and a FA charge have marred a fine Euro 2012 tournament. Terry has shown in the past he is at his best in the face of adversity and with clean sheets worth 10 points and a goal from a defender worth 20 points the 31 year old is worth a punt.

Edin Dzeko: Started last season in stunning fashion and after a summer of uncertainty will be glad to get back on the field of play. The Bosnian has linked with a move to Germany and Italy but with fellow striker Mario Balotelli likely to be on the bench, Dzeko will get a chance to show Roberto Mancini that he is worth his place in the Manchester City squad.

So why not log onto, register for Sunday’s big game and pick 5.
