Swansea went joint top of the Premier League as they ushered in the new Michael Laudrup era with a fantastic 5-0 win over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
The Welsh side dominated proceedings from the start and they opened the scoring in the 8th minute when summer signing Michu scored the first goal of the Premier League season.
Michu and fellow summer signing Chico both hit the crossbar before half time before side ran away with proceedings in the second half.
Michu scored his second of the day on 53 minutes when he curled home a left foot effort before Nathan Dyer grabbed a brace (63 and 71 minutes) leaving substitute Scott Sinclair to make it five on 81 minutes.
Much had been expected of a QPR side following a summer of shrewd business which saw the arrivals of Robert Green, Ryan Nelson, Park Si Jung, Junior Hoilett, Manchester United defender Fabio and Andrew Johnson.
Of those, QPR manager Mark Hughes handed debuts to Green, Fabio Hoilett with Ji-sung skippering the side however they were swept aside by an impressive Swansea side which included three debutants of their own in the shape of Jonathan Guzman, Michu and Chico
Such was the level of the performance from Laudrup’s side an ironic chant of “Boring, boring Swansea” rang around the away end of Loftus Road
