Everton have signed Olympiacos forward Kevin Mirallas for a fee believed to be in the region of £6million.
The 24-year-old Belgian International has signed a four-year contract at Goodison Park after passing a medical on Merseyside Saturday night.
The former St Etienne and Lille striker emerged as a real attacker of note after an impressive season in Greece last season where he scored 20 goals.
The forward, who will wear number 11, has won 28 caps and five caps for his country.
The player will be unveiled before the clash with Manchester United but will be unavailable to play as his signing was completed too late.
Speaking to Evertontv Mirallas said “I am very happy because Everton is a big club and for me it’s a very good opportunity.
“I’ve known Everton have been following me for a while and after talking with the manager I decided coming to Everton was the best opportunity for me.
“I know this is a great club with great supporters and a club that has the ability win a lot of games in the Premier League. That’s why I came.”
