Eight set to test Frankel in International

Updated: August 20, 2012

Frankel will have to beat eight rivals if he is to maintain his unbeaten record in the Juddmonte International Stakes at York on Wednesday.

The Sir Henry Cecil trained superstar is set for a step up in trip as he looks to extend his winning sequence to a perfect 13 from 13.

In his way however will be duel Cornination Cup winner St Nicholas Abbey who will lead a three pronged attack from Ballydoyle, that will also include Winsor Palace and Robin Hood.

Last year’s International winner Twice Over, Godolphin’s Farhh, Planteur, Sri Putra and Frankel’s pacemaker Bullet Train complete the field, for which Frankel is set to go off a very short price favourite.
