Irish number one Madeline Perry has moved up to career high ranking of number three in the latest world squash rankings.
Perry from Banbridge in Down has moved up from seventh in the world thanks to her appearance in KL Open final decider, which she lost to the world number one Nicol David of Malaysia.
Perry also made the semi finals on three occasions this year with appearances in the British National Championships, the Cleveland classic and the Greenwich open.
Perry will be the top seed for the Cannon Kirk Irish Open on 11th April. Dubliner Ashling Blake is 26th in the latest rankings
