Jockey Andrew Lynch taken to hospital after fall

Jockey Andrew Lynch looks set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a bad fall at Fairyhouse this evening.

The Meath born Lynch was running in the Weatherbys Ireland GSB Hurdle when he came off Fearless Falcon.

He was taken to Blanchardstown Hospital for X-rays on his left wrist and right upper arm.

The jockey is due to ride Champion Chase hero Sizing Europe in the Boylesports.com Champion Chase next Tuesday however that ride now looks to be set in serious doubt.
