Ferris and Tuohy out for Ulster

Ireland international Stephen Ferris has been ruled out of Ulster’s Magners League semi-final against Leinster at the RDS this coming Friday.

The hard tackling Ferris has not played for Ulster since January and missed Ireland’s entire Six Nations campaign with a knee injury and this latest news means that his he will not play again this season.

Brian McLaughlin will also have to plan without Lock Dan Tuohy who limped off with a hamstring injury in the win over the Dragons at the weekend. While Willie Faloon is also unavailable as he will undergo surgery on a shoulder injury this week.

Leinster have reported no fresh injury concerns from the victory over Glasgow Warriors with Leo Cullen, Sean O’Brien, Brian O’Driscoll, Eoin Reddan and Heinke ven der Merwe are to return after being rested in the 38-3 win over the Scottish outfit.
