Young Irish jockey Peter Toole is continuing to improve since his return home and his family and friends have been pleased with his progress in recent days.
Toole has been in hospital since suffering a crashing fall from Classic Fly at Aintree on Grand National day. The jockey was immediately airlifted to a nearby recovery unit in Liverpool, where he spent a number of weeks before returning to Ireland. Weighroom colleague, David Crosse has been keeping fans updated on Toole’s progress, through Twitter and his latest tweet offers further encouragement:
“Just spoke to Peter Tooles mum,,he has made gr8 progress under the Irish Air over the last wk, he is now eating a little on his own and this Morning spoke a little few words.his strength has come on a lot and can stand now for a few seconds now. His speech and right arm are now The 2 things he needs to keep improving ,, fingers crossed for top DAWG Toole”.
