Liam Harnan and Barry Callaghan have both resigned as selectors with the Meath senior football team.
While it has not been confirmed, it is understood that the departure may have had something to do with Graham Geraghty’s return to the Royal’s panel on Friday. The two men have cited ‘personal reasons’ for their departures. Callaghan resigned on Saturday and Harnan informed the county board of his decision yesterday.
Meath are due to play Kildare in the quarter-final of the Leinster Senior Football Championship and the news of their selectors departure will not help.
