Modern Pentathlete Natalya Coyle took 25th position in World cup final series no. 4 in Chengdu, China. A truly excellent and well deserved result – well done to Meath Girl Natalya and High Performance director Lindsey Weedon.

This result was enough to make the July World Cup Final in London which is the first Olympic qualification event and is also a Test event for the 2012 Olympic Games. Robert Downes President of Pentathlon Ireland said this is a great step forward for the sport in Ireland and a fantastic result for Natalya who has trained extremely hard, in between studies, to achieve this. Great result for Pentathlon Ireland.

“I have trained so hard for this and it is very satisfying to make the final. This will also secure me World Cup Final qualification which is such a thrill for me.”
