One time Munster target Ma’a Nonu has turned his back on a move to the Irish province by signing a two year deal with the Blues.
The 29 year old All Black had been linked with a move to Tony Gahan’s side as the Thomond Park outfit seek a new inside centre.
Nonu has been sacked by the Hurricanes during the Super 15 season for being a disruptive influence but has now ended speculation over his future committing to the Auckland side.
Similar to Dan Carter’s decision to play for six months with Perpignan Nonu also announced that he would be taking a break from the All Blacks post the World cup by signing with Japanese side Ricoh Black Rams before returning for the 2012 Super Rugby season.
